Entry # 8 - Elements of Teaching
The elements of teaching are all crucial and vital in the teaching-learning process. It somehow define whether the student will learn or not. These elements cannot be present without each other, meaning they are codependent. There are basically five (5) elements in teaching, these are the teacher, learners, instructional materials, learning environment, and the professional behavior of the teacher. First is the teacher, I will also tackle the professional behavior of the teacher which is another element here in this paragraph. The teacher was the center of the teaching-learning process, but that was way back. In today's time, the student is the center of the process, but I will tackle that later. Formerly, the teacher seems to be the source of all the knowledge, that he is the one and only provider. Now, the teacher is not just confined in teaching the same thing over and over again, he is also the classroom manager or facilitator that aids and supports the students. Coming along...
